A Little Lighter

Take all the pain you've felt 

and in this moment 

put it into these words 

let a poem be your help

with every ounce of suffering you place here

the pain will melt 

take all the weight

and all of the regrets 

and drop it 

move forward after this

a little lighter 

brighter than before 

leave your aches in these lines 

leave the past behind

and find your way

cry into the letters

bleed into the pages

and then

when the poem ends

let it all go

Breathe from you soul

And

Let it all go.
