Where One Day Ends, Another Begins

At any given time

This planet

Is simultaneously

Having a sunset

And a sunrise


It just depends

On where you are

To see it


One man stands on the edge of a cliff

Watching the sunset

Contemplating

Stepping off the edge

And into

The end

While on the opposite end of this world

One woman

Wakes up to breakfast in bed

And out of her window

The sky is on fire

She sips her coffee that her lover brought her

And watches the sunrise

While wondering

If the man she loves

Is watching the sunset

Across the world.
