Take It To Nirvana

Take it to nirvana

      The fire, Prometheus

          Take it all the way

Run, Prometheus

     The arrows will rain down

          Some day

Take the fire all the way

        Before steal meets flesh

The fire, Prometheus

     Take it to nirvana

That poison you drank

     What was it called?

     Hope?

     We need it now, Prometheus

      We need you now

Ride the nimbus cloud if you need to

Jump on the back of Icarus

However you have to get the fire to us

The titans reign down here

The billionaire kings spin the wheel of time

It’s not fine down here, Prometheus

      It’s not fine . . .

Show us how to control the flame

And how to use all of this damn pain

Take it all the way to nirvana

As far as it can go

Give us a glimpse of hope

     And which way to go

And how to make this place a home

Just a glimpse, Prometheus

    That’s all we need

Then I am pretty sure we can find our own way

         I am pretty sure, Prometheus . . .

All we need

    Is a little light

      In this pit,

      Prometheus,

     Just a little light . . .

      To light the way

A Masterpiece

“The version in my head of her is a masterpiece of selective memory.”  Whoa, who said that? . . . “I did.” Whoa. Who are you? “I am you.” No. I am me. “You are also you.” What? Dude, WHAT is going on?
