Second Wedding

Huh? . . . they invited me to their wedding?

That’s a little wonky.

That smells fishy.

It’s their second time getting married.

Honestly, I am pretty damn surprised they invited me.

I am a bit of a wildcard when it comes to her.

I could do anything.

I could show up naked and object.

I could expose everything.

I could parachute down from the sky and steal the bride.

Her and I never did anything right.

No, we did everything wrong.

We dated too soon.

We lived together too early on.

And we broke up way before we should've.

Then,

when we should've stopped talking,

we carried on and on and on.

We should've been done then.

We should've moved on.

But,

we didn’t.

We do everything wrong.

Eventually, we might get a few things right.

I think I'll keep getting things wrong

until I get it right this time.

We can’t let go.

And we can’t move on.

I know she doesn’t love him like she loves me,

so I have to save her from her cage.

She can’t make the same mistake again.

No, not this time.

Not in this timeline.

In this one

I steal her away

and make her mine.

I think I’ll parachute down to the wedding, naked, and steal the bride.

Just try and stop me.
