Odds Be Damned

The odds of getting a book traditionally published is about 1-2%. 


95% of all the books sent to publishers get rejected. 


80-82% of people say that they have a book inside of them they want to write some day. 


15% of them actually start to write a book. 


3% actually finish their book. 


And fewer than 1% will ever see their book get published. 


That means 0.1% of the entire population will write a book. 


What a life. 


Even if you are the 1% of the %1,


The odds of ever making a dime from that work


Is


Astronomical.


Oh well. 


Do it anyway. 


Because the odds of you being born was about 1 in 400 trillion.


You were born lucky, my friend.


So do whatever you want, odds be damned.
