Don't Die Today

Let go of your ego.

Let go of your pride.

Don’t run and hide from the monsters of your own creation.

Turn and face the past.

Learn and grow from it.

Do not ignore it.

Ask for forgiveness,

And forgive others—

They secretly are you,

And they know not what they do.

Give them grace.

Give them love.

To hate is a disease.

Breathe and believe.

Let go of the self.

Ask others for help.

Be kind.

And be mindful.

Let go of your dreams.

Let go of your schemes.

Just believe.

That’s all there is.

That’s where reality starts.

Don’t fade away.

Don’t die today.

Rise and climb,

Like you were always meant to.

Burn the boy.

Burn the man.

And try to understand,

There was never anyone there to begin with.
