*Break Glass In Case Of Emergency
I take my fist
And smash the glass
But
Nothing happens
Except for
A few cuts on my knuckles
The emergency
Continues
Too much coffee
Combined with seeing her with her man
Has my heart
Pounding out of my chest
I am unsure
If she noticed me
But now that I know
She is here
I can’t relax
This heart
Keeps beating
Faster and faster
I am afraid
I’ll pass out soon
I try to look bored
Just in case
She looks up
And see’s me
But it’s hard to control the outside
When the inside is panicking
I thought I was past this…
I punch the glass again
Still
Nothing happens
Just
More cuts.
