Backwards

I’ve heard them say that, 


Biologically

  We 

   Are 

    Basically here to

Eat

   And

 Smash,


  And it’s society that tells us no,

Worry about your credit score

   And feel guilty for fucking and eating.


It’s a paradox.

It’s our struggle to try to be more than the nature around us.

It’s our self-imposed rules.


How backwards have we become?


Or is this supposed to be our idea of progress?
