True Beauty

This kid worked with elderly ladies for awhile,
And one thing that several of them admitted to being the hardest part about aging for them was,
When they turned around 50 years old,
Men stopped looking at them.
It seemed so weird to him
That something that seems to bother so many young ladies
Can be the hardest part about aging for older ladies.
He didn’t understand it back then.
He guessed that for some people realizing that they aren't considered beautiful by the majority anymore
Can be
Really
Really
Disturbing for their self-image.
Beautiful people are the ones that embrace their inevitable fate of getting older;
and if they do it with a type of grace and self-awareness that can be considered admirable, then that is a soul to be gazed upon with wonder and awe. That is true beauty.
