It’s been

A cold

And long winter

But

As I sit here

The sun comes out

And I decide

To move seats

So the sun can

Hit me in the face

Through a window


And it feels

So

Warm


I know

That outside

The temperature is still 39

But in here

Next to this window

It feels like

Summer


And Summer is needed for the soul today

Even if

It’s just

Pretend.
