He must’ve thought

And his ‘philosophy kings’

Should tell the stories


I wonder what he would think

About the wave of stories

We consume

And all of the poets

Constructing these stories


All the movies

All the TV shows

All of the books

All of the video games

We are fed

Story after story

And we constantly

Ask for more


Hungry humans

Eating up stories

By the crate load


I wonder what Plato would say about it . . .
