My Favorite View

I have:

17,479 unread emails in my in-box,

4,684 unread text messages,

221 DM’s that haven’t been touched,

100,000 things to do,

And all I want to do is talk to you and only you.

There's so much I don't see

when I choose to see you,

but that's because

you are my favorite view.

In a world that is doing its best to distract me,

I give you the only currency that matters in life,

my time and attention.

Your voice is the only voice that matters. Never starve me of it thinking I’ll be fine.

Life is too short for that.

And when you talk

I will listen.
