Love Or Fear?

Love or Fear?

That’s it.

That’s what the man said God had told him during the long conversation he had with God.

Apparently, that’s all there is.

Love or Fear.

Everything you do comes from these two places.

Do you live through love?

Or do you live through fear?

Which one is it for you?

Love or Fear?

Are you too scared to love?

Too scared to try?

Too scared to die, so you never live?

Are you too scared that they’ll judge you?

Do you truly love?

   What do you love?

       Why do you love it?

          . . . I only ask because I’m curious.

If either Love or Fear

   Was left to steer

      Your sinking ship,

         Which one would you choose?

It sounds simple, doesn’t it?

It sounds like a reduction of life,

But, it isn’t,

It’s an expansion of life.

To love is to grow.

To be afraid is to shrink.

Love or Fear?

Which way do you want to be?

How do you want to see?

How do you want to experience others?

Through Love?

Or through Fear?

It takes courage to love.

It’s life-denying to be afraid.

Choose, my friend.

Choose to live through Love or Fear.

If you don’t consciously choose one or the other,

Then you are hardly even a real person,

Because that decision will be made for you

If you don’t make it for yourself.

Mind you, this is all according to the man who wrote a book about his ‘dialogue’ with God.

So . . .

The Mountain Moved

The mountain moved! I swear the mountain across the river moved! You see, I asked for it to. It was blocking my view of the sunset. So I closed my eyes, and in my mind, I kindly asked the mountain to

Behind Her Eyelids

A nightmare fluttered behind her eyelids. She was naked and her ankle was chained to an anchor. The current raged against her. She swam and swam and swam going nowhere. The sea was cold; the sky was
