In An Instant

He lost his job today.

“Nothing changes if nothing changes,” used to be written on his bathroom mirror. 

That would be true if we had control over our own lives.

Over a month ago, he erased his mantra, and wrote, “Everything can change in an instant.” 

He changed it because when he met her, everything changed for him in an instant.

And now, life is proving his new mantra right. 

Everything can change in an instant. It’s true. It really is. 

Sometimes the identity that we cling to so desperately is what has us anchored to the shore. 

And can’t you feel that itch to grow and explore?

Don’t you want to become more?

If you feel stuck in life, just remember, everything can change in an instant.

Let go of the ego, and go.
