Tell me what you need.
I need help.
Tell me what you see.
I see nothing.
Tell me what you know.
Hurt.
Tell me what you are.
A shooting star.
Tell me what you fear.
I fear death.
Tell me what you wish.
I wish to be with her.
Tell me what you dream.
I dream of true love.
Tell me what you’d sacrifice for it.
Everything.
. . . You’d sacrifice everything?
Of course.
You fool of a man.
Tell me why I am a fool.
Because you walk right into a meaningless sacrifice with no remorse for your life. You say you fear death, yet, I hear you choosing it. You say you wish for her, but here you are, without her. You say that you dream of love, but you let it die. You tell me you know pain, but you know nothing. You tell me that you see nothing, are you blind? You tell me that you need help, but what you really need is to believe in the self. You are a blind, naive, scared, coward—a fool of a man! With no backup plan! You leap before you look, expecting wings to shoot out of your back! Friggin fool.
. . . You can’t see my wings?
They aren’t there!!
. . . Not yet.
Wipe that smile off of your damn face.
