‘You have a nice smile Chet. You should really try to smile more.’
16 year old me looked her up and down, and glared at her.
‘Why don’t you shut the fuck up Melissa?’
She almost fainted from the insult.
I remember when she was voted ‘most dramatic’ in the yearbook.
She threw such a fit about it,
that eventually,
they discarded the votes by the students,
and made the runner-up the ‘most dramatic’.
Well, that was me.
I ended up with my picture in the yearbook with the words ‘most dramatic’ underneath it.
So 13 years later, I’d like to point out the obvious irony,
and once again say,
‘Why don’t you shut the fuck up Melissa?’
