Robin Hood

Imagine a person that was capable
Of hacking the banks
And taking
All of the money from the 15 richest families in the world
And reallocating it
To the poorest billion people here
It isn’t a revolution that we need,
But a Robin Hood
Just one person could do it . . .
I bet one person could do it . . .
Probably not me,
But maybe you could?
What happens to this world if we stole from the rich,
And gave to the poor?
Would the poor want more?
Would the world change at all?
How long would it take for everything to go back to being the same?
The same stage;
The same inequality;
The same system reemerges from the ashes;
I wonder if that’s what would happen? . . .
But maybe,
For a few decades,
We can break their stage.
We can shed our chains.
We can save mother nature,
Before she becomes a stranger.
Maybe for a few years,
We won’t be in danger.
We won’t have to live in fear
Of our own government.
