Evolving Faster Then We Are

Technology

is evolving

faster

than we are.

Beware

of the unforeseen

consequences;

for there is no real way

to know

how it is changing us.

There is no time to adapt,

for it adapts to us,

faster then we adapt to it

Tech is changing our evolutionary trajectory

When it used to be survival

that propelled us,

now,

it’s technology

We are the programmers

We are the engineers,

but do we really know

what is it

that we are programming

and engineering?

It seems to me

like the tech

is now programming

and engineering

us.
